The refreshed 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class gains a revised exterior styling and a host of new standard features, including LED taillamps, an engine stop-start system, Collision Prevention Assist, Attention Assist, Media Interface, and static LED headlights. New options such as a surround view camera, full LED lighting, and an update Driver Assistance package are also available. A new four-cylinder diesel engine replaces the outgoing 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6 for the 2014 model year. E63 AMG models now gain a performance-tuned 4Matic all-wheel-drive system as standard equipment. The newly added E63 AMG S-Model sedan and wagon are the pinnacle of performance in the E-Class range with a 5.5-liter twin turbocharged V-8 producing a 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque paired to an AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed automatic transmission.
